About Lori Frasure

Lori Frasure is a parent, community leader, and proud advocate for families in the West Ada School District. As a current Trustee, she brings both personal experience and proven leadership to Idaho’s largest school district.

Lori knows that strong schools are the heart of strong communities. She has worked to make sure every decision on the board reflects the priorities of students and parents — from keeping classrooms safe and supporting teachers, to managing taxpayer resources wisely.

Her leadership has been marked by a commitment to transparency, accountability, and putting students first. Lori believes parents should always have a voice in their children’s education, and she has been a consistent advocate for open communication between the district and the community.

Outside of her service on the board, Lori is active in local parent networks, youth activities, and community programs that strengthen families. She and her family call West Ada home, and she is deeply invested in ensuring that today’s students — and tomorrow’s — are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Student Success

Every child in the West Ada School District deserves the opportunity to thrive. For Lori Frasure, student success means more than test scores; it’s about preparing students with the skills, confidence, and character they need to succeed in life after graduation.

As a Trustee, Lori works to ensure that classrooms have the resources they need, teachers are supported, and students are given opportunities to reach their full potential. She believes success looks different for every student, and that West Ada must provide strong academic programs, career and technical pathways, and extracurricular opportunities so each child can discover and develop their talents.

Lori is committed to:

  • High academic standards that challenge students while providing support where it’s needed.

  • Safe and welcoming schools where children are free to learn without distraction or fear.

  • Strong partnerships with parents, teachers, and community to keep students at the center of every decision.

  • Preparation for the future, whether that means college, technical training, military service, or entering the workforce.

At the heart of Lori’s vision is a simple truth: when students succeed, our whole community succeeds.

Parental Involvement

Parents are the first and most important advocates for their children. Lori Frasure believes that schools work best when parents and educators are true partners in learning. As a Trustee and parent herself, Lori has been a consistent voice for ensuring families are respected, heard, and included in the decisions that shape their children’s education.

Lori is committed to keeping West Ada’s schools open and responsive to parents by:

  • Protecting a parent’s voice in board meetings and district decision‑making.

  • Encouraging clear communication between schools and families, so parents are always informed and involved.

  • Supporting partnerships with PTOs, parent volunteers, and community groups that enrich student learning.

  • Upholding transparency in policies, curriculum, and budgeting so families can trust how their schools are managed.

For Lori, empowering parents is about more than policy. It’s about building a collaborative, welcoming school environment where families feel connected and valued — because when parents are involved, students succeed.

Fiscal Responsibility

Taxpayers deserve to know that every education dollar is being used wisely to benefit students. As a Trustee, Lori Frasure has been a careful steward of West Ada’s budget — ensuring resources go directly to classrooms while keeping spending transparent and accountable.

Lori understands that families expect schools to deliver excellent education without waste. That’s why she is committed to balancing the budget responsibly, prioritizing student learning, and protecting programs that strengthen academic success and opportunity.

Lori is dedicated to:

  • Maximizing resources for classrooms, so teachers and students have the tools they need to succeed.

  • Holding the line on wasteful spending, focusing on what truly matters for families and students.

  • Promoting transparency, so the community can clearly see how funds are allocated and used.

  • Planning for the future, ensuring financial decisions today keep West Ada strong and sustainable tomorrow.

For Lori, fiscal responsibility isn’t just about numbers — it’s about trust. She believes every decision should honor taxpayers, support teachers, and ultimately put students first.

Teacher & Staff Support

Great schools are built on great people. Lori Frasure believes that teachers and staff are the backbone of the West Ada School District, and when they are supported, students thrive.

As a Trustee, Lori has worked to ensure that educators have the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed in the classroom. She knows teaching is more than a job — it’s a calling — and she is committed to creating an environment where staff can focus on what they do best: inspiring and educating students.

Lori is committed to:

  • Prioritizing classroom resources so teachers have the support, materials, and technology they need.

  • Advocating for professional development opportunities that strengthen skills and help teachers grow.

  • Valuing staff contributions, from classroom teachers to support personnel, recognizing that every role matters.

  • Fostering respect and collaboration between the district, educators, and parents to keep schools focused on student success.

By supporting the work of teachers and staff, Lori strengthens the entire school community. Her vision is clear: when educators feel valued and equipped, students achieve more and schools flourish.

Continued CTE Expansion

Not every student’s path looks the same — and that’s a good thing. Lori Frasure believes the West Ada School District must offer diverse opportunities that prepare students for college, careers, and life after graduation. Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are a key part of that vision.

CTE pathways give students hands‑on experience in fields like healthcare, technology, skilled trades, and business. These programs not only strengthen academic learning, but also connect students with real‑world skills and career opportunities right here in our community.

Lori is committed to:

  • Expanding CTE access so more students can explore career pathways that match their interests and strengths.

  • Partnering with local businesses to create internship and apprenticeship opportunities that prepare students for the workforce.

  • Investing in modern equipment and facilities that bring career training to life and keep West Ada competitive.

  • Supporting multiple pathways to success, ensuring every student has the chance to graduate with both knowledge and practical skills.

By continuing to expand CTE opportunities, Lori is helping West Ada students graduate not just with diplomas, but with confidence, job‑ready skills, and a foundation for lifelong success.
